Is Alabama Offense More Potent This Season?

Last week after hearing Nick Saban state that he believes that his offense will be better this season than last season I actually thought that he must have had a mental breakdown.  Last season Alabama's offense had its best season in the school's history averaging 38.7 points per game and feature the most dominating offensive line in college football.  After having a week to reflect and do some research Nick Saban's statements don't seem so crazy after all  First of all the offense returns its starting quarterback AJ. McCarron who has led the Crimson Tide to back to back national championships and should get better with another year in the same offense. Alabama also returns a dynamic receiving core including star receiver Amari Cooper, Kenny Bell, DeAndrew White, and expected breakout star Chris Black. Although the Tide lost Eddie Lacy early to the NFL they return preseason All American running back TJ. Yeldon as well as have a spectacular 5 star freshman running back Derrick Henry coming into the program. The offensive line has some questions but the talent is their for it to be dominant once again including projected top five 2014 NFL draft prospect left tackle Cyrus Kouandjio and rising sophomore center Ryan Kelly. The offensive line received a huge boast when preseason All American guard Anthony Steen skipped the pros and came back for his senior year.  What really takes Alabama offense to the next level is that they now have a dynamic tight end to implement into their offense.  OJ. Howard is a 6"6 245lb tight end that possesses legitimate 4.45 speed and catches everything in his radius.  Add all of these ingredients listed to this offense together and 45 points per game actually seems realistically.  Below are some highlights of incoming 240lb running back Derrick Henry.
