The King's Return?

With today's draft being completed our attention can now be focused on other important NBA topics.  One topic that is constantly being discussed around the league is will Lebron James opt of out his current contract in 2014 and return home to the team that drafted him the Cleveland Cavaliers.  As crazy as the topic sounds its not that far-fetched that the 4 time MVP and current back to back champion could actually return to Cleveland.  One of the primary reasons that Lebron James bolted for Miami was because of the lack of help that he had on the Cavaliers roster and now that has changed significantly.  In 2011 the Cavaliers selected point guard Kyrie Irving with the number 1 overall pick and power forward Tristan Thompson number 4 overall.  After just 2 seasons in the league Irving has already made the all star team and is on his way to stardom and Thompson has improved drastically.  In 2012 the Cavs were again in the lottery and selected shooting guard Dion Wiaters with their 4th overall pick and Tyler Zeller with the 17th overall pick in the NBA draft.  Although the Cavs season suffered due to injuries the team still had some bright spots with Waiters proving to be an explosive athlete and a dynamic scorer and Tyler Zeller proving to be a serviceable big man.  In the 2013 NBA draft the Cavs again manage to get some very talented players starting with drafting stretch forward Anthony Bennett number 1 overall and sharp shooter Sergey Karasev at 19 overall.  In order to help make the Cavs even more enticing to Lebron or any other superstar Dan Gilbert hired head coach Mike Brown back who helped guide the team to the league's best record in back to back seasons in 2008 and 2009.  With Dwayne Wade health deteriorating at a very rapid pace the Cavs young nucleus of Anthony Bennett, Kyrie Irving, Sergey Karasev, Tristan Thompson, Dion Waiters, and Tyler Zeller is more than enough to lure any superstar away from his team. So for now lets prepare for another great NBA season.
