Cavs # 1 Pick?

Who Should the Cavs Take # 1?

Nerlens Noel - 10.5 PPG  9.5 RPG  4.4 BPG  2.1 SPG

With the draft just 2 days away there are still some questions that needs to be decided such as who are the Cleveland Cavaliers taking with the number 1 pick in the draft? Picking at number 1 the Cavs have a variety of options including Nerlens Noel, Alex Len, and Otto Porter. The best decision that the Cavs can make is to take Noel with their number 1 overall pick on Thursday. Cleveland was ranked 25th in defense and 22nd in rebounding this season which is a recipe for a disaster to occur at the NBA level. Noel has a high basketball IQ and is an excellent shot blocker as well as rebounder and runs the floor very well. Noel is also a long and explosive athlete who happens to be improving quickly on offensive. Noel will only get better and better as he add weight to his thin frame.  Although Noel is limited offensively at this point in his development he will score easy points off of offensive rebounds as well as alley hoops due to the penetrating abilities of both Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters. Adding Noel to a young Cavs nucleus that includes Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson, and Tyler Zeller should give Cavs a roster good enough for them to be a playoff contender for years to come. Below is a link to check out some of his highlights.
